Practical clothing enriched with Chinese and western elements ruled the runways of recently concluded Asian fashion saga Hong Kong Fashion Week.

Beijing-based designer Briton Holly Fulton presented a subtle collection that showed a harmonious blend of Chinese and western styles. The ensembles of the collection included fine striped shorts, loose-fitting light-grid shirts and tight-fit low-cut dresses decorated with blooming roses.

Chinese fashion designer Chi Zhang featured a special black and white themed clothing line. Made with delicate Hangzhou silk, the modern technology enhanced collection projected asymmetrical tailoring and stitching on a variety of apparels.

Hong Kong's popular designer Johanna Ho, through her latest collection, reflected the theory of heaven and earth in blank. Seasoned with Chinese calligraphy, the line showcased a range of stylish and classical large-scale clothing portraying the humility and profoundness of Chinese culture.
