Designer of the year, ILUNA GROUP
Designer of the year, Iluna Group, was selected for its innovation within fabrics for intimates. Each year, within the framework of the Paris Capitale de la Creation collective, 2 companies get awarded; one for the intimates sector and one for the beachwear sector. This title recognizes designers for their dynamism and creativity.
Following the January show in Paris where Iluna Group was awarded, INTERFILIERE Hong Kong will highlight their products and designs further.
Iluna Group was established in
1975 by Luigi Annovazzi specializing in pre-formed bra-cups. In 1985 the company was acquired by Ondali factory that was recognized for the production of stretch fabrics and lace. Over the years it took over a number of companies to become a thriving group with international presence.
It now focuses on the production of microfiber fabrics, tulle, stretch and rigid lace for intimates, beachwear and ready-to-wear.
Thanks to its collaboration with Karl Mayer, who will also be present at INTERFILIERE Hong Kong, who supplied its 80 high-tech looms, the Iluna Group has become one of Europe’s largest producers and one of the most innovative. Proud to rely on its 200 specialized and motivated employees, the group boasts a high-performance R&D department which contributes to the creation and production of cutting-edge collections, selected by top brands.
Iluna Group will also bring a dedicated seminar on their latest innovations and collections.
