A total of 9,897 tons of wool are exported through the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone, worth $134 million. The numbers saw a year-on-year increase of 13.49 percent and 0.75 percent, respectively.

Advantages from transportation and free trade policies in Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone have helped the area become a trading base of wool import and a manufacturing base for wool export. It is one of the leading zones for wool export.

Now more and more wool is being exported to nearly 40 countries and regions including Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the US and Africa.
